Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2012-2013 School Year. I will be working with each of the pre-school classes this year. I am planning to use a multisensory approach to help the children learn their letters, sounds of letters and one-to-one correspondence. Intermittently papers will be sent home for practice and I am requesting your support and cooperation in practicing at home to make this experience rewarding for your child. Those children who receive small group instruction will receive a composition book with information as to the frequency and duration of their sessions. The composition book will also contain dittos that can be used at home for review and practice. The person in charge of this practice will be asked to sign that page.
Over the course of the year your attention is also directed to the Topics of Study section for each month located on the webpage
