The end of the school year always seems to arrive too quickly. The thoughts of end-of-the-year festivities, summer and outside activities sometimes can distract us from what’s most important. Please continue to encourage your children to finish the year strong by putting forth their best effort every day.
I want to take this opportunity to celebrate our achievements, perseverance, and success this past school year. At the PLC and Oxycocus schools, our youngest students will have their promotion ceremony signifying they are ready to proceed to the next level of their education. At the Intermediate school, our 6th graders will graduate and begin a new chapter of their lives. These promotion ceremonies are rites of passage and great occasions to celebrate our students, families and staff. I congratulate you all on what you have achieved during this school year. I sincerely wish our 6th grade graduates much success as they continue their education at Southern Regional. We will miss their energy, spirit and leadership.
Our students’ learning is our number one priority and the focus of the work we do each and every day. Please continue this focus throughout the summer by reading with your children to maintain what they have learned throughout the school year. I hope all of our Stafford families and staff enjoy a safe and relaxing summer and I am looking forward to seeing everyone in September.
