November went by in the blink of an eye and the holidays are fast approaching.  There is much excitement in the air as we prepare for the upcoming holiday season.  
 
I would like to thank all of our parents/guardians for their participation in our American Education Week classroom visitations and our parent/teacher conferences.  It is wonderful to see so many family members taking such an active role in their children's education.
 
As the days get shorter, and the colder weather sets in, I would like to remind students to wear a warm coat, hat and gloves to school each day. Weather permitting, we strive to go out and get fresh air.  It is important that students are dressed appropriately to ensure they remain warm.  
  
For your convenience, all December happenings are listed below:

12/7    PTO Meeting 9:30am @ PLC
12/7    Make-up Picture Day 
12/10  PTO Chef's Tour 5pm
12/23  EARLY DISMISSAL for Students (@ 12:55pm)
12/26-12/30  School Closed, Winter Recess

    During the colder months, please have your child dress appropriately for school. Long pants and sweatshirts or sweaters are recommended. The students will continue to go outside for gym and recess everyday as long as the temperature is above 32 degrees.
