Building a Better World, One Student at a Time

Owl with Book

The 2016-17 school year has gotten off to a wonderful start! It was a pleasure meeting many of the families at our Open House. I have enjoyed getting to know your children during the first week of school as well.  The students are adjusting well to the daily routines. Our teachers and support staff have been hard  at work meeting the needs of our students.  I would like to personally thank everyone for your understanding and working with us on our drop off and pick up procedures.  With your support and cooperation, we can get the students into the building safely.  Our priority is the safety and security of the students while they are in the building.
As we move forward with the school year, please remember to contact your child's teacher and keep the lines of communication going (via teacher web pages, e-mail, phone calls, notes, etc).  Open communication between parents and teachers is the most effective way to ensure a successful and productive school year for all.   Don't forget to please continue to check the school calendar located on our website for upcoming school events.   You can also follow me on Twitter via @OxyDirector for updates, news and school highlights.
