Mrs. D'Alessandro is the Principal of the
Ronald L. Meinders Primary Learning Center. She began her career in
education over 16 years ago. For the past eight years she has
served in a variety of administrative positions at both the district
and school level. Mrs. D'Alessandro holds a Master's Degree in
Language Arts as well as a Masters Degree in School Administration.
She also has certification in Student Personnel Services. Mrs.
D’Alessandro is dedicated to assist in training future teachers
serving in the past and future as an adjunct professor at Georgian
Court University and Ocean County College. Additionally, Mrs.
D’Alessandro has presented at local conferences and the annual IRA
conference.

Kindergarten Registration
Students who are age 5 on or before October 1st of the year of entry are
eligible for Kindergarten. Parents registering their child must present an
original birth certificate (with raised seal), an up-to-date immunization record
(see below) and valid proof of residence.

Requirements
DPT
Minimum of 4 doses, administered on or after the 4th birthday.
Children with totals of 5 doses are in compliance.

Any 4 doses will meet compliance standards
Hib
Mandated for preschool & pre-kindergarten
MMR (measles, mumps and rubella (also known as German measles)
One dose on or after 1st birthday
Two doses if born after 1/1/90
Hepatitis B
3 doses of Hep-B vaccine
Varicella (also known as Chicken Pox)
1 dose of vaccine on or after first birthday OR parental/physician history of
disease
Mantoux (TB) Test
Required if entering from another state or country unless valid proof of a test
in previous 6 months is given.
Physical - Must be completed within 1 year (365 days) of entering the
