Stafford Township School District

Enrico Siano, “Rick” has been a member of the Stafford staff since January 1994. Rick served as the business administrator to the Long Branch and Cranbury School Districts before coming to Stafford.  Prior to being a business administrator Rick was the assistant internal auditor for the Hoboken School District.  At the time of Rick’s employment with the Stafford School District the audit was finalized and Rick was charged with revamping the business procedures and practices. This revamping impacted both the business and educational operations of the district and resulted in strong financial forecasting, budget development, investments, availability of educational funds and most importantly making decisions that would have the least impact on the taxpayer’s pocketbooks.

Rick was involved in the fast growth of the district including the design and construction of the Ocean Acres and Primary Learning Schools, Connector, and the Art Center. In addition, Rick is involved in all general construction programs; i.e., solar, roofing, parking lot, and energy savings.  Rick will also be involved in a soon to begin new Energy Savings Improvement Program (ESIP) that will allow for the replacement of heating and air conditioning units for the Oxycocus, Intermediate and McKinley Schools as well as the replacement of lighting and heating controls in all schools with no additional financial impact to the taxpayers of Stafford.

Rick oversees the general operations of the business office, purchasing, transportation, building and grounds and food services departments.

Rick also served as secretary, vice president and president of the Ocean County Association of School Business Officials from 2000-2008.

Rick currently sits on the finance committee of the Stafford Township Education Foundation serving as advisor to that board.

Over time a Business Efficiency Standard Team, BEST, was formed where a mission statement was developed along with operational goals, as follows;

                                                                           MISSION STATEMENT

BEST would provide services to all staff and students in a professional, cost-effective, efficient, timely and safe manner that would allow them to fulfill their educational needs.

BEST is committed, dedicated and focused on meeting the expectations of all requiring services.

Through teamwork we can accomplish the extraordinary!

                                                                                 BEST GOALS
