Stafford Township School District

Welcome!

As of May 1st, there are only thirty-one school days left this year. One of the challenges of this month is keeping our students motivated and focused on the tasks at hand when the warmer weather turns their thoughts to summer.

For our older students, one of the tasks at hand is the NJASK Test. The test will be administered to our fifth and six graders on April 30-May 3. Our third graders will be tested the following week, May 7-10, along with our fourth graders, who will have an extra day of testing on May 11. Students and staff have been preparing for these assessments and have even scheduled pep rallies to keep everyone positive and motivated. Parents and guardians have been using online resources to assist their children and can continue to help during testing by making sure their child has a good night’s sleep and a nutritious breakfast each day.

The upcoming weeks are filled with concerts and showcases that highlight our wonderful district programs and the talents our students have developed. They are open to the public and I encourage you to attend at least one event to celebrate the effort and creativity of our participating students.

Most importantly, May 7-11 is Staff Appreciation Week in our schools and I hope you will join me in celebrating the dedicated teachers and staff who use their own creativity and expertise to inspire our students every day.

but the regard for it is a lost tradition."
