Stafford Township School District

Welcome!

Through the years, the Stafford community has come to rely on the preschool and extended day services available in our schools. And while the district will be handling preschool and extended day services for the 2012/1013 school year, families can be assured that the same high-quality standards they are accustomed to will remain in place. On February 1 at 6:30PM, we had a preschool meeting at the Oxycocus School to address questions or concerns families had at this time. Information about the extended day program will be available at a later date. But families should know that both of these services (preschool and a before- and after-school program) will be available in our district next year. Please know that we will be having other meetings concerning preschool and extended day during this month. Watch for flyers and announcements.

In addition to addressing questions and concerns from parents and families, we also welcome your input on a variety of topics. We believe strongly that partnerships between parents/guardians and schools help to support student success. Our DPAC meetings offer a chance for parents/guardians to sit with administrators and provide input and feedback regarding district programs. At our DPAC meeting on February 8 at 1:30PM in the Administration Building, we will discuss our wellness plan and report cards. We hope you can make time in your busy schedule to attend.

While we work to make our great district even better, we do so with the knowledge that many issues at home can interfere with student progress. These are difficult times for some of our families and our newly created NEW 2 U Shop offers some assistance to families in need by providing gently used clothing and sports equipment. The local community has been incredibly generous with donations of items and time to organize the shop. If you or someone you know would like to visit the shop, please contact one of our Home School Liaisons and they will arrange to open the shop at a convenient time.
