Superintendent’s Message – November 2015
Hello November! The holidays are among us and so is winter. Although November is an academically short month, there are many things happening I’d like to mention. November 9 begins the PTO Book Fair at our schools. Engaging with your child on the pages of a good book is a great way to improve your child’s learning potential. American Education Week begins November 16 and each school has scheduled activities. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. Please visit your child’s school to see the wonderful things happening in the classroom.

Parent/Teacher conferences will begin November 20, 23, 24. Please make every effort to attend, communication between parent and teacher is so important and beneficial to our students. Lastly, we will have half days of school on November 20, 23, 24, and 25. School will be closed November 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
