Ms. Madeline S. Myers
Hi! My name is Ms. Madeline S. Myers. I teach 4th, 5th, and 6th grade strings, as well as general music, at the McKinley Avenue School and Stafford Intermediate School.
I am a graduate of Southern Regional High School and a graduate of Monmouth University and have a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Special Education as well as a minor in Psychology. This will be my 8th year here in the Stafford School District and I am excited about all that it will bring. I completed my student teaching here with the band and strings and have come to love working here with these fantastic students. I am excited for our first year fully back with the arts!
Music has always been a part of my life and strings has been my focus since I was in 4th grade. I began playing the violin in 4th grade and instantly loved it. When I went to middle school, I switched to viola and then learned how to play the cello in high school. I love the sound that a string instrument makes and how each one is different yet they combine to create something so beautiful. In college, I studied every aspect of music and every instrument and grew to love it even more.
When I am not teaching, you can find me on the volleyball court coaching high school girls volleyball at Southern Regional.
I am excited to teach here at Stafford, especially strings, as it is my personal favorite.
Looking forward to a great school year! I hope you will become a part of the strings program and look forward to getting to know all of you!
