Hello and welcome to First Grade!

I can not believe that it is time to start another NEW school year. My name is Mrs. Kievit and I will be your teacher. I am very excited to meet you all.  Your class will be my 25th class of first graders here in Stafford. I grew up here in town so I also went through the Stafford School District Schools - but many, many years ago.

My husband and I have 2 boys. Our oldest is Kyle and he is 19 and our youngest is Ryan who is 16. Kyle just earned his diesel certification and is currently on the hunt for a job in that field. Ryan will be a junior this year at Southern Regional High School. We also have a dog and her name is Kona. You will get to see lots of pictures of Kona throughout the year. 

During first grade it is really amazing how much students grow. They will be learning so many new and exciting things. I look forward to going on this journey of learning with you all!
