    11-5 Use mental math to subtract ten from two-digit number.
     
    Writing:
    We will be finishing up our opinion writing unit.
    Writing words that have different endings (-ing, -ies).
     
    Reading:
    We are reading various biographical and informational texts.
    I will read with students in their reading groups daily.  We will be working on the reading strategies "eagle eye," "lips the fish," "stretchy snake," "chunky monkey," and "flippy dolphin."

    Complete spelling activities and return on Friday.

    *As it gets cooler out, please make sure your child has a jacket with them!*                                                                      

    DISMISSAL - PLEASE SEND A WRITTEN NOTE IF YOUR CHILD WILL BE PICKED UP OR ATTEND EXTENDED DAY AS A CHANGE FROM THEIR NORMAL DISMISSAL PROCEDURE. 

    Please be sure your child's things are labeled.                  

    Please be sure to pack your child one small, dry snack every day.  Also, water only, no juice please!

    Please have your child wear sneakers every day. We will be outdoors as much as possible.
