Superintendent’s Message – April 2017

April is Autism Awareness month. World Autism Awareness Day is devoted to increasing world knowledge of autism and celebrating the unique talents and skills of persons with autism. The Stafford Township School District will be proudly joining the global landmarks, communities, businesses and homes participating in the “Light It Up Blue” campaign on April 2, 2017. Please join us by shining a bright blue light in honor of those individuals and families.

In addition, this month is “Take Your Child to Work Day”. Due to PARCC testing, the Stafford Township School District will be celebrating on Friday, April 28, 2017. Participation in this special day is a unique educational opportunity for a hands-on, interactive exchange between our students and staff.

Lastly, the Stafford Township School District will be closed for spring recess beginning April 10, 2017 through April 14, 2017. As always, please check our website for upcoming events happening in our district.

For safety purposes, we encourage parents to not pick up their child(ren) a half hour before dismissal unless it is for an emergency only.  We encourage you to utilize our bus transportation.
